Keshia Adele has always been a songwriter, writing about events in her life that she wanted to document.  She grew up "breathing Vinyls of Pattie Labelle, Nina Simone, Gladys Knight and the Pips, Aretha Franklin, Earth, Wind and Fire, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, George Benson, Jim Reeves, Michael Jackson and Prince (to name a few). Living and breathing music, Keshia Adele had been journeying to find who she is in music. After a long while, she has finally matured into the artist she wants to be. Keshia Adele now takes the wheel and accelerates full steam ahead into the depths of our hearts by reviving the vulnerable and romantic truth of contemporary R&B and New Jack Swing. She has earned comparison to R&B royalty such as Janet Jackson and Mary J Blige. Her music enfuses the truth and pain of growing up as a young woman and teenager.  She explores themes such as Love, Relationships, Intimacy, Society and Knowledge. Her Adult lyrics expose the rare yet raw emotion of a young lady in life. Her love for the understanding of music, and how it all works together and communicates with each other to tell a story, is evidential in the way her music echos with the listener.
